As part of our commitment to leading the way in quality and testing, Nautech Electronics is proud to announce the addition of the QualMark Typhoon 2.5 HALT and HAST chamber. In addition to our existing environmental chambers this new machine is capable of heating to 200°C and cooling to -100°C with temperature ramp rates of 70-100°C per minute. To achieve this we have also commissioned our own internal Liquid Nitrogen generation plant and cooling plant.
Other than dramatic temperature testing the new machine tests for accelerated stress by applying up to 75 g of force. Putting this into perspective, Formula One drivers usually experience 5 g while braking, 2 g while accelerating, and 4 to 6 g while cornering.
